Vida Nordic is a Dubai renovation and fit-out contractor for private homes. We run the whole job — survey, scope, pricing, approvals, works and handover — under our own licence, with our own team.
The company
Vida Nordic Interior Decoration L.L.C is a limited liability company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and trades as Vida Nordic. It holds trade licence 1446898 from the Department of Economy and Tourism, Dubai. The licence covers decoration design and implementation, kitchens, floor and wall tiling, carpentry and wood flooring, false ceilings and partitions, painting, plumbing and sanitary, electrical fitting, air-conditioning, and glass and aluminium works — the full set of trades a residential renovation needs, held by one company rather than spread across several.
The office is at Office M2-E34, ART Tower, Al Raffa, Dubai. Projects are across Dubai's villa communities and apartment towers.
The name
Vida is life, in Portuguese; Nordic is where the other half of the company comes from. The two describe the work as well as the founders: warm materials and generous light, with restrained detailing and a preference for doing the invisible parts properly.
How we work
Renovations go wrong in the gaps between trades and in the words that were never written down. We close both. One contractor is accountable for every trade on site, and every project runs on paper: a room-by-room scope, a bill of quantities with each item measured and priced, a programme with a critical path, and a weekly report with photographs and a snag log.
Vida Nordic is owner-managed. The person who surveys your home writes the scope, prices it and runs the works; you are not handed from a sales team to a site team.
Where a project needs an interior designer, a structural engineer or a specialist supplier, we bring them in and coordinate them. We are a contractor, not an engineering or quantity-surveying consultancy, and we say so.
